<p>It&#8217;s small, but it&#8217;s important — and it&#8217;s going to live just outside the Sidney Historical Association&#8217;s offices on Main Street in Sidney. Soon we&#8217;ll have more info and photos of the New York, Ontario &amp; Western railroad watchman&#8217;s shanty.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[Restoring one of the last remaining one-room schoolhouses in New York]]></description>
										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>The Youngs Schoolhouse</h2>
<p>Located just off Rt. 23 in Youngs, the Youngs Schoolhouse (as it&#8217;s now known) has had several names and several owners. It&#8217;s the oldest one-room schoolhouse in Delaware County. The Sidney Historical Association purchased the building in 2023 with the goal of refurbishing the building as a showcase and mini-museum.</p>
<p>More information will be coming when I have a chance to interview the right folks. For now, enjoy some photos:</p>
